ABOUT RYAN
Ryan Romero is a Connecticut-based performer, currently a senior pursuing a degree in Theatre Arts at Sacred Heart University. Born and raised in Connecticut, Ryan discovered his passion for theatre at the age of nine, performing in school musicals.
Ryan later attended a part-time performing arts high school, where he trained in multiple aspects of theatre and performed in main-stage productions. Since then, he has continued developing his skills both onstage and behind the scenes through acting, media production, and creative storytelling projects.
Beyond the stage, Ryan is committed to making theatre feel engaging, welcoming, and creatively fulfilling for all audiences alike. As he continues growing as an artist, he is eager to gain experience both on and off the stage while building work that feels personal, energetic, and meaningful.

Crapp's River
Sacred Heart University Repertory Theatre Company
Currently, Ryan is thrilled to be making his international performance debut at the Fringe Festival in the outrageous musical parody Crapp’s River. Returning after a sold-out run, the show follows everyone’s favorite fabulously dysfunctional family as they stumble back into small-town chaos, complete with original songs, ridiculous plot twists, and over-the-top drama. Ryan will be appearing as Roland and various featured roles, while also serving as choreographer for the production.
